Section Volleyball

 

RED ROCK CENTRAL DEFEATED WINDOM 3 SETS TO 1 IN A SECTION 3-A VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT MATCH TUESDAY EVENING AT WORTHINGTON. 
 
RED ROCK CENTRAL WON A CLOSE 1ST SET 25-22.   WINDOM ANSWERED WITH A STRONG SECOND SET, WINNING 25-13.   IN THE 3RD SET, WINDOM WAS LEADING 13-12, BUT RED ROCK CENTRAL WENT ON AN 8-1 RUN, AND THE FALCONS WENT ON TO WIN THE SET 25-18.     IN THE 4TH SET, WINDOM WAS LEADING 19-14, ONLY TO SEE RED ROCK CENTRAL OUTSCORE WINDOM 11-3 TO WIN THE SET 25-22 AND TAKE THE MATCH, 3 SETS TO 1.   
 
WITH THE VICTORY, RED ROCK CENTRAL IMPROVES ITS RECORD TO 18-8.  THE FALCONS WILL PLAY IN THE SUB-SECTION FINALS AT 6:00 THURSDAY EVENING AT SW MN STATE UNIVERSITY IN MARSHALL. 
 
WINDOM ENDS ITS SEASON WITH A RECORD OF 22-8.   THE EAGLES WILL GRADUATE 7 SENIORS OFF THIS YEAR’S ROSTER.
