THE COMMUNITY BLOOD BANK WILL BE HOLDING A BLOOD DRIVE IN WINDOM ON MONDAY.   THE BLOOD BANK, BASED IN SIOUX FALLS, IS THE SOLE SUPPLIER OF BLOOD AND BLOOD PRODUCTS FOR WINDOM AREA HEALTH.  DONATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AT WINDOM AREA HEALTH FROM 10:00 UNTIL 1:00 AND 2:30 UNTIL 5:00.  DONORS MUST BE 17, OR 16 WITH PARENTAL PERMISSION; WEIGH AT LEAST 110 POUNDS AND BE IN GOOD GENERAL HEALTH.  YOU WILL NEED TO SHOW IDENTIFICATION.   WHOLE BLOOD MAY BE DONATED EVERY 56 DAYS. 
 
COTTONWOOD COUNTY IS HOLDING A HOLIDAY E-WASTE COLLECTION ON TUESDAY.  THERE WILL BE A CHARGE TO RECYCLE ELECTRONIC ITEMS, INCLUDING T-V SETS AND COMPUTERS.  CHRISTMAS LIGHTS MAY BE RECYCLED FOR FREE.  HERE IS THE SCHEDULE FOR DROP-OFF:  IN WESTBROOK FROM 8:00 TO 9:00AM; STORDEN FROM 9:30 TO 10:30; JEFFERS FROM 11:00 TO NOON; AT THE MT LAKE HIGHWAY SHOP FROM 1:00 TO 2:00PM ON TUESDAY; AND AT THE RECYCLING SHED AT THE COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS IN WINDOM FROM 2:30 UNTIL 6:00PM.       
 
THE MT LAKE CITY COUNCIL MEETS TODAY.   MAYOR MIKE NELSON AND COUNCIL MEMBERS DANA KASS AND ANDY YSKER WILL TAKE THE OATH OF OFFICE.  THE COUNCIL WILL HANDLE A NUMBER OF ORGANIZATIONAL ITEMS, INCLUDING OFFICIAL DESIGNATIONS AND APPOINTMENTS.  THE CITY’S INVESTMENT POLICY WILL BE ADOPTED.  RATES, FEES AND ADMINISTRATIVE FINES WILL BE SET.  THE COUNCIL WILL REVIEW A SUMMARY OF 2018 BUILDING PERMITS, AND SET BUILDING PERMIT FEES FOR 2019.  SOME LAND WILL BE PLACED IN THE RURAL SERVICE DISTRICT.   
 
A MEETING OF THE FULDA CITY COUNCIL IS BEING HELD TODAY.   A VACANCY ON THE COUNCIL WILL BE DECLARED.  A NEW MEMBER WILL BE APPOINTED.  THERE WILL BE AN UPDATE ON AN AGREEMENT WITH BONDIN TOWNSHIP.  AN UPDATE WILL BE PROVIDED ON THE FIRE HALL.  THERE WILL BE A REPORT ON CITY WELL #9.  AN EXEMPT GAMBLING PERMIT WILL BE APPROVED.  A NUMBER OF ANNUAL DESIGNATIONS AND APPOINTMENTS WILL BE MADE.  INFORMATION WILL BE PRESENTED ON A PROPOSAL FROM ‘VAST’ BROADBAND.   
 
THE WESTBROOK CITY COUNCIL HOLDS A REGULAR MEETING TODAY.   ADMINISTRATIVE FEES AND FINES WILL BE SET FOR 2019.  WAGES WILL BE SET FOR PART-TIME EMPLOYEES.  A COST-OF-LIVING INCREASE MAY BE APPROVED.  A NUMBER OF OFFICIAL DESIGNATIONS AND APPOINTMENTS WILL BE APPROVED.  THE COUNCIL WILL REVIEW AN APPLICATION FOR AN EXEMPT GAMBLING PERMIT.  THE CITY’S PERSONNEL POLICY WILL BE UPDATED.  AN UNPAID BILL FOR A FIRE CALL WILL BE ASSESSED AGAINST THE OWNERS’ PROPERTY TAXES.   
 
AN ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING OF THE MT LAKE SCHOOL BOARD IS BEING HELD TODAY.   ELECTION OF OFFICERS WILL BE HELD.  NEW AND RE-ELECTED BOARD MEMBERS WILL TAKE THE OATH OF OFFICE.  A NUMBER OF APPOINTMENTS AND COMMITTEE ASSIGNMENTS WILL BE APPROVED.   OFFICIAL FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS WILL BE DESIGNATED.  SCHOOL PERSONNEL WILL BE DESIGNATED TO HANDLE CERTAIN FINANCIAL TRANSACTIONS.        
 
THE MURRAY COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS WILL MEET TUESDAY MORNING.   NEW MEMBERS WILL TAKE THE OATH OF OFFICE.  A CHAIRPERSON AND VICE-CHAIR WILL BE ELECTED.  BIDS WILL BE OPENED FOR THE OFFICIAL COUNTY NEWSPAPER.  2019 APPROPRIATIONS WILL BE APPROVED.   COMMITTEE ASSIGNMENTS WILL BE FINALIZED.  APPOINTMENTS WILL BE MADE TO VARIOUS BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS.  THE BOARD WILL HOLD A BID OPENING FOR A BRIDGE PROJECT IN MASON TOWNSHIP.  A DISCUSSION WILL BE HELD ON PARKING FOR SUNRISE TERRACE. 
 
A MEETING OF THE JACKSON COUNTY BOARD WILL BE HELD TUESDAY MORNING.  A CHAIRPERSON AND VICE-CHAIR WILL BE ELECTED.  A NUMBER OF ORGANIZATION ITEMS AND APPOINTMENTS WILL BE HANDLED.  THE BOARD WILL CONSIDER THE PURCHASE OF A NEW TANDEM TRUCK AND PLOWING EQUIPMENT.   A NEW FORMAT WILL BE ADOPTED FOR PERFORMANCE EVALUATIONS FOR SUPERVISORY AND NON-SUPERVISORY EMPLOYEES.
