Big South Conf All-Conf Baseball

THE BIG SOUTH CONFERENCE HAS RELEASED ITS ALL-CONFERENCE BASEBALL TEAM FOR THE 2019 SEASON.   
 
IN THE SMALL-SCHOOL DIVISION, WINDOM HAD THREE PLAYERS NAMED 1ST-TEAM ALL-CONFERENCE:  SENIORS KOBE LOVELL AND ALEX BORSGARD AND SOPHOMORE CONNER REDMAN.    
 
JACKSON COUNTY CENTRAL HAD ONE ALL-CONFERENCE PLAYER IN ZACH NEAL. 
 
PLAYERS RECEIVING HONORABLE MENTION FOR WINDOM WERE SENIOR ERIC PFEFFER, JUNIOR KYLE ESPENSON AND SOPHOMORE KADE SAMMONS.     J-C-C HAD AN HONORABLE MENTION CHOICE IN ALEX BRETZMAN.   
 
THE ALL-CONFERENCE FIRST TEAM IN THE SMALL-SCHOOL DIVISION INCLUDED SIX PLAYERS FROM LUVERNE, FIVE PLAYERS FROM PIPESTONE, TWO FROM REDWOOD VALLEY AND ONE PLAYER FROM ST. JAMES. 
 
IN THE LARGE-SCHOOL DIVISION, THE ALL-CONFERERNCE TEAM HAD FIVE PLAYERS FROM ST. PETER, THREE FROM MARSHALL, THREE FROM NEW ULM, THREE FROM FAIRMONT, THREE FROM BLUE EARTH, AND ONE PLAYER FROM WORTHINGTON.   
 
LUVERNE WON THE REGULAR-SEASON TITLE IN THE SMALL SCHOOL DIVISION; MARSHALL WON THE TITLE IN THE LARGE-SCHOOL DIVISION.   MARSHALL DEFEATED LUVERNE 4-2 TO WIN THE OVERALL CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP.   
 
IN THE POST-SEASON, MARSHALL AND ST. PETER EACH WON SECTION TITLES.   ST. PETER FINISHED IN 4TH PLACE IN THE CLASS 2A STATE TOURNAMENT; MARSHALL FINISHED IN 6TH PLACE IN THE CLASS 3A STATE TOURNAMENT.
