State Track meet results

The State Track meet was held Friday and Saturday at Hamline University in St. Paul. 
 
Checking results for area athletes: 
 
For Windom:  Delaney Smith finished 3rd in the Class A girls Shotput, and 5th in the Discus.   Gracie Bucher did not place in the Girls 800. 
 
For Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda:  Morgan Gehl finished in 3rd place in the Class A Girls 1600 and 3200 meter runs.   
 
Among other results: 
 
GIRLS: 
For JCC – Aleigha Henderson finished in 9th place in the Long Jump. 
For SW Christian/Edgerton:  Kaitlyn Schuur finished 3rd in the Pole Vault.    
For Luverne:  Luverne was 1st in the 4×800 relay; 5th in the 4×200 relay; and 9th in the 4×400 relay.  Tenley Nelson was 4th in the 3200.  Regan Feit was 7th in the 300 Hurdles.  Brooklyn Ver Steeg was 9th in the 400. 
 
BOYS: 
For Pipestone:  The Arrows were 2nd in the 4×200 relay and 3rd in the 4×100 relay.  Devin Tinklenberg was 4th in the 400.  Carter Nesvold was 6th in the 200.   
Luverne was 5th in the 4×400 relay. 
For Blue Earth:  Thomas Lindley was 3rd in the Pole Vault.  Ben Babcock was 9th in the Long Jump. 
For Ellsworth:  Kade Boltjes was 7th in the 200.  Sean Boltjes was 6th in the 300 Hurdles.  Ellsworth was 4th in the 4×200 relay and 5th in the 4×100 relay. 
SW MN Christian was 8th in the 4×800 relay. 
 
Also, Aaron Johnson of Murray County Central was 7th in the 110 Hurdles.  Carl Swedzinski of Wabasso was 9th in the Shotput.
