This will be the “Final Four” round – 3 of four teams will qualify for the State Class C Amateur Baseball tournament.
Each series is best 2-games-out-of-3.
One series has the Luverne Redbirds facing the Hadley Buttermakers.
The 1st game will be Wednesday at Luverne. Game #2 will be Saturday afternoon at Hadley. if a 3rd game is needed, it would be played Sunday at Luverne.
The other series has the Fairmont Martins taking on the Milroy Irish.
The 1st game will be Wednesday at Fairmont. Game #2 will be Friday evening at the Irish Yard. If a 3rd game is needed, it would be played Sunday in Fairmont.
One final playoff series will be played starting next Wednesday to determine seeding for the State tournament.
Prior to this round of playoff games, the remaining teams were able to “draft” one pitcher from teams that have been eliminated. The Fairmont Martins drafted Collin Lovell from the Windom Pirates. The Milroy Irish drafted Kobe Lovell from the Windom Pirates.
