HUSET’S SPEEDWAY IN BRANDON, SOUTH DAKOTA HELD ITS FIRST LIVE RACING EVENT IN OVER THREE YEARS ON SUNDAY. 
 
THE FEATURE EVENT INVOLVED THE ALL-STAR CIRCUIT OF CHAMPIONS FOR 410-CUBIC-INCH SPRINT CARS.  WINNING THE RACE AND THE $20,000 FIRST PRIZE WAS CORY ELIASON OF VISALIA, CALIFORNIA.  IN 2ND PLACE WAS DOMINIC SCELZI OF FRESNO, CALIFORNIA.  3RD PLACE WENT TO KERRY MADSEN OF KNOXVILLE, IOWA.  4TH PLACE WENT TO IAN MADSEN OF NEW SOUTH WALES, AUSTRALIA.  AND IN 5TH PLACE WAS RICO ABREU OF ST. HELENA, CALIFORNIA.  LOCAL DRIVER SKYLAR PROCHASKA OF LAKEFIELD FINISHED IN 13TH PLACE.  
 
JUSTIN HENDERSON OF TEA, SOUTH DAKOTA WON THE ‘B’ FEATURE.  
 
KYLE LARSON HAD THE QUICK TIME IN QUALIFYING. 
 
THE SUPPORT FEATURE HAD LATE MODEL STREET STOCKS.  THE WINNER WAS CORY YEIGH OF SIOUX FALLS.   
 
HUSET’S IS OWNED BY TOD QUIRING OF WINDOM, WHO ALSO OWNS THE JACKSON MOTORPLEX.   THE ALL-STAR RACE WAS ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED TO BE RUN IN JACKSON, BUT WAS MOVED TO HUSET’S BECAUSE SOUTH DAKOTA DOES NOT HAVE RESTRICTIONS ON CROWD SIZE.    SUNDAY’S EVENT WAS THE FIRST RACING ACTION AT HUSET’S SINCE THE SPRING OF 2017.   
 
HUSET’S SPEEDWAY WILL BE HOSTING A ‘MONSTER TRUCK THROWDOWN’ EVENT ON SATURDAY, AUGUST 29TH 
 
ANOTHER SPRINT-CAR SHOW WITH THE WORLD OF OUTLAWS WILL BE HELD ON SEPTEMBER 5TH AND 6TH.
