State Amateur Baseball Update

The Minnesota Class “C” State Amateur Baseball tournament continued this weekend. 

 

Games are being played at Riverside Park in Springfield and the Milroy Yankees field. 

 

Friday: 

    Fairmont Martins beat the Waconia Lakers 2-1    at Milroy 

 

    Union Hill Bulldogs defeated the Lamberton Long Sox 2-1     at Springfield 

 

On Saturday: 

      Isanti Redbirds beat the Watertown Red Devils 4-2    at Springfield 

 

      Prior Lake Mudcats defeated the Kimball Express  2-1   at Milroy 

 

      Bemidji Blue Ox beat the Maple Lake Lakers 6-3      at Springfield 

 

       Bird Island Bullfrogs stopped the Dilworth Raildogs 10-0  at Milroy 

 

        Sartell Muskies defeated the Gaylord Islanders 1-0     at Springfield 

 

        Bluffton Braves defeated the Randall Cubs 11-0   at Milroy 

 

        St. Patrick Irish beat the Rochester Roadrunners  10-1   at Springfield 

 

        Carver Black Sox won 4-2 over the Delano Athletics   at Milroy 

 

On Sunday: 

         Young America Cardinals beat the Luverne Redbirds 5-4    at Springfield 

 

         Jordan Brewers defeated the Lake Henry Lakers 11-2    at Milroy 

 

        Foley Lumber Jacks stopped the New Prague Orioles  4-0     at Milroy 

 

          Buffalo Bulldogs won 8-2 over the Morris Eagles   at Springfield 

 

       Cold Spring Springers defeated the Buckman Billygoats 12-8    at Springfield 

 

       Watkins Clippers beat the Fergus Falls Hurricanes 6-0     at Milroy 

 

The State Class “C” Amateur baseball tournament continues next weekend. 

 

The round of 16 will be played Friday and Saturday. 

Quarter-Finals and Semi-Finals will be played Sunday. 

The State Championship game will be held Labor Day Monday in Springfield.
