Windom Police Department reported on April 28th at approximately 11:30pm Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Drake Ave. A male wanted to report that he was assaulted earlier by being hit in the face by a female. He stated that the domestic situation involved arguing and some pushing and shoving between the male and female, until the female and her mother later left the scene. This matter is under investigation.

Fulda City Council will hold their Regular Council meeting TONIGHT at 5pm at Fulda City Hall.

Mountain Lake City Council Meeting will be held tonight at 6:30pm at the Mountain Lake City Hall. The board will go into closed chambers to conduct the 6-month performance evaluation of the new City Administrator at the end of the meeting.

Cottonwood County Board of Commissioners will met Tuesday morning, May 3rd at 9 am in the Cottonwood County Courthouse. The meeting will begin with two public hearings for the Housing Initiatives and Resolution for Tax Abatement for the properties located at 1901 and 1903 Bud Road respectively.

The Jackson County Board of Commissioners and The Drainage Authority will meet Tuesday May 3rd at 9am at the Jackson County Resource Center Cafeteria.

Windom City Council will be meeting Tuesday May 3rd at 6:30pm in the City Council Chambers.

Cottonwood County 4-H Ambassadors are collecting items for the East River Foster Parent Network. The Ambassadors are looking for new or gently used shoes, sweatpants and basic tees for teenagers. Donations will be accepted at the Cottonwood County Extension Office located at 41385 US Hwy 71, Windom, MN from May 1st till June 1st.
