Windom Police Department reported on August 12th around 8:40pm an officer was dispatched to First Floral to a report that kids were running up on the roof tops above First Floral, River City Eatery and OK Boss after climbing a ladder. Upon arrival and investigation the kids were gone, but the owner of River City Eatery had snapped a picture of the four boys while they were climbing down the ladder. Officers recognized one of the boys. After further investigation, three 13-year-old kids were verbally warned- unless damage is found. The officer was unable to contact the fourth 13-year-old male. This is the third incident reported of trespassing on the roof. First incident was in June, the second on August 11th and they were caught on the 12th.

On the 14th an Officer took a report of terroristic threats from a Heron Lake male. The Officer spoke with the reporting party who explained that he had received an audio message on Facebook messenger from a male voice that was threatening in nature. This matter is under investigation.
