When big companies support their local communities, it truly impacts the well being of everyone. HyLife is an interquel business that not only employees a number of our surrounding families, but they also are making it a point to help improve our surroundings. HyLife 2022 Fun Days events wrapped up with a significant donation of more than $170,0 00 to local charities. What started back in 2011 with a  single celebration focused on the head offices in LaBroquerie Manitoba Canada. Fast forward 11 years and here in Windom we are celebrating an amazing donation from HyLife Fun Days. According to Grant Lazaruk, President and Chief Executive Officer, HyLife “This was a chance for our company to say a sincere thanks to those who are key to our success.” Lazaruk went on to explain “In 2022, we took Fun Days on the road, making stops to connect with more employees, communities, and partners. The significant gifts will be put to good use at a local food bank and organizations that support youth, seniors, and our neighbors. We have created a living legacy from these events.” If you haven’t been down to Cottonwood Lake Tegels Park to see this incredible vision in action you should. Windom has benefited from the generous donation of $40,000 to support an outdoor picnic Shelter sponsored by the Windom Lions Club. According to President of the Windom Lions Club Alan Saffert, this is the biggest project the Lions have had, ever. Saffert went onto say of the Shelter “We never had a building in Windom where we could all gather to have a celebration where we didn’t have to worry about weather or building a stage. The building will all be covered, and we can enjoy our beautiful park and each other.”

HyLife has made an incredible donation to our community and the Community Park Shelter is just one of many reasons that the HyLife Fun Days 2022 will be remembered for its empowerment, volunteerism, and togetherness.
