Windom Fire Chief Ben Derickson stated there was a single semi-truck accident on the 7th at approximately 4pm. According to Chief Derickson, the semi had someone pull out in front of him and he applied his brakes, then they  locked up and that is what caused his load to shift and come up and crash into the cab. Derickson went on to say there was some diesel fuel and antifreeze leaking but the main leak was transmission fluid.  There was never a public threat. Assisting Agencies included the Windom Fire Dept, Windom Ambulance Service, Windom Police., the Cottonwood County Sheriff Department and Windom Towing.   There were no injuries.
